While the bags can be frozen for a very long time, it is the milk itself that shouldn’t be frozen for more than 180 days before being used. If you suspect milk has thawed and refrozen due to a power cut, it is safest to discard that milk. Always follow the instructions from your healthcare provider about safe milk consumption.
Yes, our bags are made out of high-quality food-grade plastics that are BPA-free.
You can leave frozen milk bags out to thaw and then tip the milk into appropriate feeding bottles to be warmed in specifically designed bottle warmers. Some bottle warmers also warm frozen and cold bags, so always check the instructions of the warmer you are using. Never use a microwave to reheat milk.
We do not recommend reusing milk bags.
